Welcome to Scrambled + Scrumptious, thank you for joining me! A little bit about me: I am Kirsten, a busy accountant and self taught cook and photographer from Vancouver. I love to experiment in the kitchen and my boyfriend, Julian, loves to taste test!
My food philosophy is all about moderation. I prepare my meals with a focus on healthy, whole foods which means that they have been processed as little as possible.
Everyone needs to treat themselves now and then, which is why I still enjoy going for dinner and cocktails with friends and family. Scrambled + Scrumptious focuses on balance, and I will share with you recipes for healthy eating. In addition, I will also include some indulgences for treats.
One of my other passions is travelling, and I love to taste traditional dishes from around the world. Scrambled + Scrumptious will include dishes inspired by my travels for you to experience too!
I created Scrambled + Scrumptious to share my favorite recipes that I have created in my kitchen in recent years. I will also share some old favorites that have endured in my family for decades.
This blog is about enjoying great food that nourishes your body, and it includes the occasional indulgences for you to nourish your soul too!
